Elizabeth Kolbert, author of the Pulitzer-prize-winning book The Sixth Extinction, has a new book out, Under a White Sky: The Nature of the Future.
The book is a look at geo-engineering and climate change, and the larger context of the technological hubris of humans’ attempts to control the environment. As she says, the book is “about people trying to solve problems created by people trying to solve problems.”
Here’s Jeff Goodell’s interview with Kolbert about the book in Rolling Stone.
